John J. Wargo, Jr. named the St. Edward High School

2017 Legal Eagles Man of the Year

On May 26, 2017, John Wargo, Jr., the managing partner at Wargo & Wargo Co., L.P.A. received the St. Edward High School Legal Eagles Man of the Year Award.  This is an annual award presented each Spring by the school’s legal alumni community.  It was a proud moment for John, his family, and the entire Wargo & Wargo team!

John graduated from St. Edward High School in 1965, and just a few years ago celebrated his 50^th Class Reunion with fellow alumni.  He attended Bowling Green State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree, and then went on to attend Northern Kentucky State College, Salmon P. Chase College of Law to receive his Juris Doctor.

For many years, John has employed his skills as a trial lawyer to work with fellow Eagles in the St. Edward’s student Mock Trial Program.  In 2016, John helped coach the Mock Trial Team to wins at both the District and Regional levels before finishing as one of Ohio’s top 10 high school mock trial teams.  The Man of the Year Award was an extraordinary recognition for John’s dedication to the young men of St. Edward and its’ Mock Trial Program.
